The Water Race 6/12hr Rogaine (14 September 2024)

The almost 400 participants across both events were not put off by the fierce weather predicted for the Fryers Range State Forest and Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park over the weekend. Although there was a little hail and rain, it certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of the teams discovering the areas of past mining activity and spring wildflowers.

Some incredible results by our top teams today with Eric Lambers, James Kirk and Paul Monks taking out the 6 hour event and Clare Brownridge and Andrew Mccarthy victorious in the 12 hour event.

3rd – Byron Sanford, Jordan Sanford (2140pts)
